the dream..

my colleague had a dream about me that got me thinking for a while.. she said it was very weird..but i had other thoughts about it...

in the dream, it was my last day at work and the whole dept knows about it, except for her. as usual we did the group farewell and all, but she didnt know what we were 'celebrating' until she asked the woman beside. being the last one to know about my resignation, she was very sad, and apparently i left her a video tape to say goodbye.

quite a dramatic dream huh?

leaving the job? well it's all a matter of time when someone leaves their comfort zone and move on to the next path in their life.. was having a chat with someone the other day, and he said that he did all sorts of jobs and tried to start his own business, and now after years of working, he is still a junior exec.. some of his friends are very successful by now, and to quote his exact lines " they took the right path, did the right job, followed the right advices, and everything seems to be so right." oh well, there will always be people around you who are more successful, and in a better state than you, and there's also people who are in a less fortunate state.. it's all up to you to look up or down, to compare to strive for the better.

thought for now : when do i move on to the next path?
